Հայոց 632 թվականին (1183) և Տեր Գրիգորի հայրապետության օրոք, ես՝ Վախտանգի որդի Հասանս, շինեցի բազմաւեր եկեղեցիներս իմ հանցանքների քավության և իմ հոգու բարեխոսության համար առ Աստված, որ երկրպագեք, Հասանին ձեր աղոթքներում հիշեք, և Աստված (թող) ձեզ հիշի:
In the Armenian year 632 (1183), during the patriarchate of Ter Grigor, I, Hasan, son of Vakhtang, have built these ruined churches for the atonement of my sins and for the intercession of my soul before God. You who worship, remember Hasan in your prayers, and may God remember you.
Բնագրի փորագրման համաչափությունն ապահովելու նպատակով քարը նախապես եզրագծվել և տողագծվել է: Փորագրությունը խորն է, կենտրոնական մասում առկա են փոսորակներ, որոնք, թերևս, կրակոցներից են առաջացել: Ամեն դեպքում դրանք չեն խանգարում վերծանությանը:
In order to ensure the proportionality of the original carving, the stone was pre-outlined and ruled. The engraving is deep; however, there are small pits in the central section, likely caused by gunfire. In any case, these do not obstruct the decipherment.
