I, Khurter, built (this) St. Grigor (church) with my rightful earnings, for the commemoration of myself, my spouse, and my son Margareh. Remember (us) in your payers to the Lord. In the Armenian year 723 (=1274).
Բարավորի ստորին մասը՝ արտաքուստ կոտրված է, որի հետեւանքով վիմագրի վերջին տողը մեծապես վնասվել է: Փորագրությունը լայնակոս է, տառաստեղններում նկատելի են նաեւ կարմիր ներկի հետքեր: Նախորդ հրատարակիչներն առաջին անձնանունը կարդացել են Խորբ Տէր, մինչդեռ վիմագրագետ Արսեն Հարությունյանն ավելի հավանական է համարում Խուրտեր անվան հիշատակությունը:
The lower exterior section of the lintel is broken, resulting in severe damage to the final line of the inscription. The engraving consists of broad grooves, and traces of red pigment remain visible within the letterforms. Previous editors read the first personal name as Khorb Ter, whereas epigraphist Arsen Harutyunyan considers the mention of the name Khurter to be more probable.
