This bridge is in memory of mahtesi (pilgrim) Aran (or Maran), in the Armenian year 1112 (=1663).

Արձանագրությունն ամփոփված է կամրջի ձախակողմյան խելին ագուցված սրբատաշ փոքր քարին (0,42 x 0,30 մ): Գիրը համաչափ է, վարպետորեն փորագրված: Խոնավությունից քարը խունացել և աղակալել է:

The inscription occupies a small, finely dressed stone (0.42 × 0.30 m) set into the left-hand pier of the bridge. The script is regular and expertly carved. Prolonged moisture exposure has caused the stone surface to fade and develop salt efflorescence.
