The principal three-line inscription accompanies the depiction of the Life of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker at the center of the mural composition. Its content has been thoroughly analyzed by the authors of the monograph on the conservation and restoration of the wall paintings (see Matevosyan et al. 2018, pp. 50–52).
