Հայոց 725 (=1276) թվին, Աստծով կառուցվեց (այս) ժամատունն ու եկեղեցիները Դավիթ վարդապետի ձեռամբ (նախաձեռնությամբ), հաթերքեցիներն ազատեցին սա բոլոր հարկերից (չարից): Աստված (թող) օրհնի նրանց, ով խափանի՝ (թող) դատվի (Աստծու կողմից):
In the Armenian year 725 (=1276), with God’s help, this zhamatun and the churches were built by the initiative of Vardapet Davit. The inhabitants of Haterk exempted it from all obligations (taxes). May God bless them; whoever annuls this, may he be judged by God.
Արձանագիր քարն ընկած է, հողմահար և մամռակալած է (1,68 x 0,76 x 0,16 մ): Ակնհայտ է, որ այն կրող բարավորը կառույցի երբեմնի մուտքի վերնամասն է հարդարել, որպիսին և տեղ է գտել կառույցի արևմտյան ճակատի վերակազմության մեջ (Պետրոսյան և այլք 2009, 39):
The inscribed stone is lying fallen and has been weathered and covered with moss (1.68 × 0.76 × 0.16 m). It is evident that the tympanum bearing the inscription once formed the upper part of the entrance of the structure and was subsequently incorporated into the reconstruction of the building’s western façade (Petrosyan et al. 2009, p. 39).
