About the project

The Artsakh Epigraphy Atlas documents, preserves and makes accessible the Armenian inscriptions of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh): the monasteries, churches, khachkars and tombstones of the region and the texts carved on them.

Every record has a permanent identifier and address, a suggested citation and a TEI/EpiDoc file. The texts and data are licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0; images remain the rights of the photographers and publications credited with them.
