Where the records come from

ArmEpiDoc	77 records
Community Narek C.	580 records

The ArmEpiDoc records were read against their printed sources page by page in September 2026: one reader reported every difference, a second reader tried to refute it, and only confirmed differences were changed. The community records were transcribed from Divan hay vimagrutyan vol. 5 and carry its page scans.

Known gaps

Most records have no transcription: the 585 community records carry metadata, a drawing and the page scan, but not the text.
No reading has yet been checked against a photograph published here; readings follow the printed editions and the contributors' records.
Not every transcription is encoded in TEI; some exist as plain text from a contributor's document.
Coordinates come from the monument or the settlement, not from a survey of each stone.
Nobody has confirmed that every photograph shows the stone its record describes.
49 confirmed scholarly problems await an editor's decision, and 54 more a second reader could not decide.

Using the data

Every record has a permanent identifier and address, and a suggested citation. Identifiers are never renumbered or reused.
Each record publishes its TEI/EpiDoc file at /inscriptions/<identifier>.xml.
Texts and data: CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Images are not covered by this licence: rights remain with the photographers and publications credited with each image.
