English translation
Remember Ter Athanas in Christ. By the power of God, who is, I—Ter Athanas, son of Hasan, shepherd of my holy covenant—erected this holy sign (cross-stone/khachkar) in memory of my soul (for its salvation). In the Armenian year 732 (=1283).

Ի Քրիստոս հիշեցե՛ք Տեր Աթանասին: Զորությամբ Աստծու, որ Կա, ես՝ Տեր Աթանասս, Հասանի որդին, առաջնորդ սուրբ ուխտիս, կանգնեցի սուրբ նշանս (խաչը/խաչքարը) ի հիշատակ իմ հոգու (փրկության): Հայոց 732 (=1283) թվին:
Commentary
This monument is a unique masterpiece of medieval Armenian khachkar art and epigraphy, distinguished by its exquisite carving and elegant calligraphic inscription. It is a bipartite structure, with the cornice having been fashioned as a separate piece. Traces of black soot are visible in the central areas of the stele, likely resulting from the tradition of lighting candles before the khachkar.
Հայ միջնադարյան խաչքարագործության և վիմագրության եզակի ստեղծագործություններից է, որն աչքի է ընկնում նրբագեղ քանդակագործությամբ և վայելչագիր արձանագրությամբ: Երկմաս է, քիվն առանձին է կերտվել: Կոթողի կենտրոնական մասերում նկատելի են սև մրի հետքեր, որոնք, թերևս, առաջացել են խաչքարերի դիմաց մոմ վառելու հետևանքով:
