English translation
In the Armenian year 645 (1196), I, Ter Grigor, erected this cross (khachkar) at the tomb of my father, Stepanos. Remember us in your prayers.

Հայոց 645 թվականն էր (1196): Ես՝ Տեր Գրիգորս, կանգնեցի այս խաչը (խաչքարը) իմ հոր՝ Ստեփանոսի տապանին (գերեզմանաքարին կից), աղոթքներում հիշեցեք (մեզ):
Commentary
The upper right portion of the khachkar is broken. Notable in the composition is the interlaced ornamental band that frames the cross-slab on three sides. The main cross features trilobed wings, a pedestal (cross-base), and palmette ornaments. The date-bearing characters are situated at the bottom of the horizontal cross-arms, while the primary lithic inscription is located beneath the pedestal, where the surface was also ruled.
Խաչքարի վերին աջ հատվածը կոտրված է: Հորինվածքում ուշագրավ է հյուսածո զարդագոտին, որը երիզում է խաչասալը երեք կողմից: Հիմնախաչն ունի եռաբողբոջ խաչաթևեր, խաչակոթուն, արմավազարդ: Թվականակերտ տառամիավորները տեղ են գտել հորիզոնական խաչաթևերի ստորին մասում, իսկ բուն վիմագիրը՝ խաչակոթունի տակ, որտեղ նաև տողագծվել է:
