English translation
During the leadership of Ter Grigor, I—Simeon—and my brothers built the oven-house and established the scriptorium. My (monastic) brothers granted (ordained) two liturgies per year. May those who perform them be blessed by God: one for Serob, one for Sevad.
Armenian translation
Տեր Գրիգորի առաջնորդության օրոք, ես՝ Սիմեվոնս և իմ եղբայրները, կառուցել տվինք փռնախուցն ու կազմել տվինք գրատունը, իմ (միաբան) եղբայրները տարվա ընթացքում տվեցին (սահմանեցին) երկու պատարագ. կատարողները (թող) օրհնվեն Աստծուց: Մեկը՝ Սերոբին, մեկը՝ Սևադին:
Commentary
The stone is no longer in situ and was evidently repurposed as building material at a later date. As a result of this reuse, the edges have been damaged, and the surface exhibits numerous pits that occasionally obscure the clarity of the engraved letters.
Քարն իր նախնական տեղում չէ և ակնհայտորեն հետագայում օգտագործվել է որպես շինաքար: Վերաօգտագործման հետևանքով վնասվել են եզրային մասերը, իսկ մակերեսին առկա են բազմաթիվ փոսորակներ, որոնք երբեմն խաթարում են տառերի հստակ փորագրությանը:
