English translation
In the Armenian year 693 (=1244), I, Serob the deacon, a member of the holy fraternity, built the Chapel of the Holy Apostles upon the foundation of the earlier structure. Remember me in your prayers.

(Հայոց) 693 (=1244) թվին, ես՝ սուրբ ուխտիս (միաբան) Սերոբ սարկավագս, շինեցի Սուրբ Առաքյալ (մատուռը) նախորդի հիման (հիմքի) վրա, աղոթքս հիշեցեք:
Commentary
The lower section and edges of the tympanum—serving as a replacement for the lintel—are broken, resulting in the partial loss of the start of the final line. The script was generally executed by an untrained hand; consequently, the proportions of the letters and the spacing of the lines are irregular. Judging from the photograph, the stone's surface is significantly faded.
Բարավորին փոխարինող մուտքի ճակատակալ քարի ստորին մասն ու եզրերը կոտրված են, ինչի հետևանքով մասամբ կորսվել է արձանագրության վերջին տողի սկզբնամասը: Գիրն ընդհանուր առմամբ կազմված է անվարժ գրչի ձեռքով, պահպանված չեն տառերի և տողերի համաչափությունները: Լուսանկարից դատելով՝ քարը կիսով չափ խունացած է:
