Christ. St. Nicholas the Hierarch (Wonderworker). I am Michael the Archangel, who has always guarded you and been your companion since childhood. In the Armenian year 746 (=1297). Holy Mary, Mother of God.

Քրիստոս: Սուրբ Նիկողայոս հայրապետ (Սքանչելագործ): Ես Միքայելն եմ (հրեշտակապետը), որ միշտ պահում (պահպանում) եմ քեզ ու քո գործակիցն եմ մանկությունից: Հայոց 746 (=1297) թվականին: Սուրբ Մարիամ Աստվածածին:
Commentary
The principal three-line inscription accompanies the depiction of the Life of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker at the center of the mural composition. Its content has been thoroughly analyzed by the authors of the monograph on the conservation and restoration of the wall paintings (see Matevosyan et al. 2018, pp. 50–52).
